FAQs

Questions We Hear Every Day

Answers to the most common questions from students exploring pharmacy careers.

D.Pharma is a 2-year diploma that qualifies you as a registered pharmacist for retail and hospital dispensing. B.Pharma is a 4-year degree that opens broader careers in R&D, pharma companies, clinical pharmacy, and higher education. B.Pharma is required to pursue M.Pharma or Pharm.D.

GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is conducted by NTA for admission to M.Pharma programmes in government and private pharmacy colleges. It is taken after completing B.Pharma. A good GPAT score qualifies you for AICTE scholarships of ₹12,400/month and admission to top M.Pharma programmes.

B.Pharma graduates can work as hospital pharmacists, drug inspectors, medical representatives, R&D researchers, quality control analysts, or regulatory affairs officers. Top pharma companies like Sun Pharma, Cipla, Dr. Reddy's, and Biocon actively recruit B.Pharma graduates with strong packages.

NEET is required for Pharm.D admissions in some states since it has clinical components similar to MBBS. For B.Pharma and D.Pharma, most states use their own pharmacy entrance exams (KCET, AP EAMCET etc.) or direct merit-based admission. Our counsellors will clarify the exact requirement for your state.

We assist at every stage: course selection, college shortlisting based on your marks and location, state counselling registration, choice filling, document verification, and final reporting support. Book a free consultation to get started immediately.
